A Republican, For County Commissioner

WHY?

I am running for County Commissioner because I want to help make Johnston County the absolute BEST PLACE to WORK, LIVE, and PLAY that it can be. Johnston County deserves more than just being a bedroom community to Raleigh. The county is changing and we need to make sure that what we continue to do here will promote the well-being of the people that live here and will live here in the future.

THE MISSION:

Promote the well-being of Johnston County’s current and future citizens.

As we continue to grow in population, we have to ensure that we grow in abilities as well. That means growing our job market by providing great places to work. We must provide adequate solutions for problems dealing with infrastructure, education, and public utilities without overbearing regulations and taxes.

Part 1:

Lead Conservatively! This means ensuring that Johnston County stays Johnston County and does not become Wake 2.0. We must hold the line in our conservative values. It is imperative to uphold our conservative values and steadfastly advocate for ‘small government’ and decisions that are rooted in ‘freedom.’ This also means effectively managing your tax dollars and being mindful of wasteful spending.

Part 2:

Per the 2022 community input survey, an overwhelming 90% of respondents expressed a desire to conserve our natural lands. It is imperative for our quality of life that we champion the enhancement of our county’s outdoor recreation. Let's ensure the preservation of our beautiful landscapes by investing in parks, trails, and green spaces, providing residents with opportunities to connect with nature for generations to come.
